Thank you!
Wow, you guys are great. Thank you so much for checking us out! We have had an overwhelming response to our new blog and we really appreciate everyone who read our first posts, commented, and subscribed!
But now we have even more to ask of you. We want to know what you guys want to read about! You will be hearing from most of us each week and we will often be writing about certain topics. Since this blog is for all 20somethings to enjoy, let us know what is on your mind! What issues have you faced being in your twenties? What are you passionate about? What keeps you motivated? We’d love to hear your ideas for future posts!
Also, we want to get our name out there so that every 20something on the web knows that we’re here! Will you help us? Great! Add Umm… Now what? to your blogroll and leave us a comment saying that you did, and we will link you on our ‘Friends of U…NW?’ page that will be up by this weekend. We’ll link your blog name and even write a short (50 words) description of your site. (Write the description in your comment when you let us know you linked us!) Great exposure for us… great exposure for you!
That’s all for now folks… we can’t wait for all of your topic ideas to start rolling in!

September 10th, 2008 at 6:58 pm
Although I’m not quite sure where to begin with suggestions, I have added your site to my blogroll! Days ago!!
And on that note, I’m very excited to be listed as a friend of Umm… Now What? Why? Because it’s a great frickin blog name!
Description of my site: It’s a scrapbook of personal musings on politics, art, music, movies, books and reflections on life in general.
You go girls!
September 10th, 2008 at 7:12 pm
I still have to think of suggestions, but you’re on my blogroll all the same! Loving this site!!!
September 10th, 2008 at 7:20 pm
Not quite sure on suggestions. But you are some creative girls, and whatever you want to write about, we probably want to read about!
I have added you to my blogroll, and would love to be a friend of U…NW?
My site:
One Kiwi twentysomething’s perspective on life, relationships and building a life in a new (small) city. And, as a selling point, it sometimes contains pictures of one very cute kitten!
September 10th, 2008 at 7:34 pm
Officially an unofficial 20something (even though I’m not). I’ll add you guys in my blogroll, no problem.
And, erm, college? Figuring out what to do with your life and being terrified you’re making the wrong choice because NOTHING SEEMS LIKE A GOOD IDEA? I’d love posts on this topic. Mostly because it’s what I’m going through.
September 10th, 2008 at 7:45 pm
I’m terrible with suggestions… you guys clearly know what you’re doing here.
You’ve been on my blog roll for a few days now.
My Site: The thoughts, obsessions, and musings about life of a small town girl living in the big city.
September 10th, 2008 at 7:51 pm
How about something on meeting new people/making new friends? I just moved to a city 1000 miles from my home/college area, and I left pretty much everyone there. I didn’t know a single person in my new city, and I am having a hard time meeting people. I thought work would provide me with more opportunities, but there isn’t that much socializing between people.
(Why did I do this again? I think I thought it would be an adventure)
September 10th, 2008 at 8:23 pm
I like Kat’s idea…and maybe career stuff? Gen Y is hot!
September 10th, 2008 at 8:24 pm
Sex sells, baby.
September 10th, 2008 at 8:28 pm
i’ve added you guys to my blogroll! triple LOVE this site/idea!!
for ideas? i agree with Kat because i’m in the same boat, also college/”real world” topics such as jobs, networking, etc.
and of course, some celeb gossip thrown in for good measure.
September 10th, 2008 at 9:05 pm
I would say just writing about life like you have been so far. I really enjoy reading each of your thoughts and certainly relate.
I love the site and will work on the blogroll add. Mine is very outdated so hopefully I’ll have time to update it this weekend.
September 10th, 2008 at 9:25 pm
You are on my blogroll–which shows the most recently updated 25 blog posts… so as long as you update semi-regularly, you should always be displayed. Ok? Confusing. Sorry.
Suggestions? A few years ago when I was fresh out of college, I wanted to talk about dating. Long distance dating. First dates. Internet dating. Etc. Etc. Etc. Now that I’m attached, that’s not something I’m so concerned with… but I’m sure there are many who are!
September 10th, 2008 at 11:21 pm
Of course I’ve added you to my blogroll
How could I not?
My site: Can not be condensed to a measly blurb.
Suggestions…everyone else seems to have taken all the words out my mouth. Or fingers. Or something.
September 11th, 2008 at 5:08 am
Done!
Wow, this sure seems like a wicked blog! Cant wai to see what kinda topics u’ll write about.
Oh, how to descripe my blog? Have no idea… I trust u guyz to wing it
September 11th, 2008 at 6:06 am
I’ve added you to my blogroll and am looking forward to more posts. I’m not sure what to suggest for posts, unless you have some great stories about how you figured out what you wanted to do with your lives. I still have no clue. Help!
My blog is just me, I wouldn’t know how else to describe it. Um…I write snippets about my life, rant about public transport, discuss my love of films, TV and books, and sometimes I travel to exciting places and survive to tell the tale.
September 11th, 2008 at 8:44 am
Yes, please keep up the awesome sauce! This blog is great. I’d like to see a lot more about relationships in the 20something’s life. Such as, is it the right time, good or bad relationships, what to look for in a significant other, what’s dating like, etc…
Also, blogrolled since inception!
Jenn B has been everyone’s hero since 1985. She’s a nerd girl obsessed with television, reading, sequential art, and sometimes film. She’s a Halifax girl blogging all about her ordinary world, even if it’s to no one in particular.
September 11th, 2008 at 8:58 am
I would like to know home some other twenty-somethings deal with depression. I have been struggling with it for ten years and it never fails, about once or twice a year I will sink back into my hole where I feel like life is pointless (although I have never been suicidal). What (other than medication . . . already on that!) helps you stay afloat when you’re at your weakest?
September 11th, 2008 at 9:01 am
Added to my blogroll.
This blog is extra handy because it’s five people I’d read anyway all in one place!
Crazy Brit Heaven is the thought bubbles and random realisations of a tall, music-loving chocoholic who is addicted to travelling.
September 11th, 2008 at 10:59 am
You’re on my blogroll.
How about doing a post on managing money? That’s something I could definitely use help with!
September 11th, 2008 at 11:05 am
Oops, forgot to write my description! Here it is:
Travis blogs about faith, music, current events, mental illness, pop culture, and anything else he can think of.
September 11th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Added to blogroll. Lovin the new blog. It’s like the trail mix of 20something blogs…good on its own but so much better together. And like trail mix, I will be enjoying it in my pajamas while watching The Price is Right. Which is a topic I think you should address: what kinds of entertainment are timeless for our gen? What’s the stuff that we’re still watching in our 20’s that had us captivated 10 years ago? And what new stuff are we all the sudden hooked on?
And can you please explain to me why all of my friends are knitting? What’s with all of these new hobbies we pick up during this chapter of life? The fads of rock climbing and frisbee golf, book clubs and even blogging. What hobbies keep you guys busy?
Please throw in some thrilling tales of your travels…cross-country in a cramped car or overseas to an exotic island inhabited by virgins.
We’re all pretty pumped about this new site! So don’t let us down. Or we’ll write hate comments the likes of which have never been seen before.
–Letter to the World writes letters to the world. More specifically, they’re addressed to things like macaroni and cheese, geckos in her toilet, and her facebook relationship status.
September 11th, 2008 at 11:40 am
I love the new blog; have been reading. I quite like reading about other 20-somethings and their job situations…but also their dating situations. I just became engaged when I thought I wouldn’t get married before 30. So, I just like know that shizz.
I added you to my blog roll!
Mah blog:
“Tried to Live Forever” - just about a silly, fun, love-struck music nerd.

You are all awesome and we all lived in the same place, I’d say cupcakes on me!
September 11th, 2008 at 3:38 pm
I would love to read about 20somethings entering the workforce and navigating the workforce. I’ve had many different corporate experiences that I was largely unprepared for – I’d like to hear what other people’s experiences have been!
September 11th, 2008 at 4:12 pm
Love you, ladies! I just added you to my blogroll.

If there was one thing you could change about yourself or your life, what would it be?
I have more but I will hold off until later!

September 11th, 2008 at 7:19 pm

Hello! You’re on my blogroll (finally, after I worked out how the devil to do it!) and I look forward to reading more of your posts
I hope you like my blog! I’m a 25 year old Fine Art graduate living in London, who now spends her time drinking tea, baking cakes and drawing pictures of children dressed as animals
September 13th, 2008 at 8:17 pm
I added you guys to my blog roll days ago! This is such a great idea, I can’t wait to read more. As far as suggestions go I’d be interested in reading about life after a break-up (b/c that’s what I’m dealing with right now), moving away from home to a new city, starting out in a new career, etc.
My blog: I’m a twenty-something grad student living in New York City. My guilty pleasures are chips and queso with a frozen margarita w/ salt. I also have a slight obsession with TV, specifically Gilmore Girls, House Hunters and Jon & Kate Plus 8.
September 13th, 2008 at 8:50 pm
Hi! I’ve been fortunate enough to find a couple of you lovely lady bloggers individually thanks to the 20sb network, and I think this group project is a great one!
I added you to my blogroll at the Lily Pad, where I… well, do basically a similar thing, waxing blogical on all things 20sb.
Good luck, girls!

I have no specific suggestions at the moment (my personal quarterlife crisis can be summed as “you mean I have to graduate? crap…”), but maybe something more targeted will come to me. After all, I have nine more years as a twentysomething.
I’ve added you to the links list on my blog, which I’m sure will send tens of new readers your way.
As for my blog… well, I’m a nerdy college student who loves art, medieval history, Shrek, owls, Italian food, and the finer points of English grammar. And I blog about stuff.
September 14th, 2008 at 9:57 pm

October 6th, 2008 at 2:53 am
A nice new link on a my nice new blogroll!
I hate having to give a brief description of my blog, cuz it’s just sort of all over (hence the name), but this should be pretty close:
Ramble Ramble is my little spot in the limelight where I cover marriage to an artist, learning photography, and figuring out who I want to be when I grow up. A little introspective, a little quirky, and a lot of rambling.
October 13th, 2008 at 1:42 am

Awww, that kitten is so adorable!
