1) Don't booty call during the week.
2) Don't booty call on weekend asking him to come over before he goes to work.
3) Don't booty call asking him to come to your house before work especially if you still live with the guy your broke up with 6 days earlier, and still share a bed with.
4) Don't call your booty call when drunk and on Zanax and expect to leave a message telling him you're confused about where things are going because you think he's working and won't answer his phone. Because he will answer the phone.
5) Don't follow this up with a message saying sorry you're a little confused and messed up.
6) Don't follow THIS message up with one saying you're so messed up you're taking time off work, would he like to come over during those days off...

For rools my friend did all of this in the last 4 days and all I have to say is she makes me feel great about whatever shiznit I got going on...

As I’ve remarked before, my adult dating history has been marked primarily by either being in a relationship, or out of one, with not a lot of time spent in the space in between. Of course, being with the same man from 18 to 24, and then, however ridiculously it may be, finding the man of my dreams soon after that sort of takes away much of the possible time in the gray zone.

All very good tips - and very on point.

Dating is honestly so overrated. It's fun initially, but after a year or two of doing it, it's like, "Enough already!!"
